Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou, the oldest of her four siblings, was born on the 8th of August 1976 in Beaumont Puy-de-Domme. Her parents as a dentist and teacher, were aware of and supported their daughter's enthusiasm for theater and drama at a young stage. This support was enough to overcome her original ambition to be a the first primatologist. As a young woman rising to the heights of fame was rapid and marked with early recognition and success. After her graduation in 1998, she was a participant in the French talent-scouting TV programme Jeunes Premiers sponsored by Canal+ and won Best Young Actress at the Beziers Festival of Young Actors prior to beginning her acting career in earnest. Tautou was born into a Catholic home, and was a member of the religious services, despite having attended school at school at the Institut Catholique de Paris. She pursued a career in modeling alongside her acting career and is the model for L'Oreal Mont Blanc and Chanel frequently referred to as the Chanel Muse.
